Dear AIRDOT backers!
Here are some updates on how our project is coming along.
In this update, we’ll cover the AIRDOT connector information and the sealing test of the AIRDOT vacuum storage bag.
1. AIRDOT Connector to be compatible with other vacuum bags: AIRDOT Making Film #5
We first made a connector sample with a 3D printer and tested it. And then we made connector samples of various colors and hardness using a mold-injection. We are making modifications to increase the maturity of the AIRDOT connector. We will notify you as soon as the AIRDOT connector is complete. Check out the connector samples and a video below.
2. Sealing test of AIRDOT Vacuum Storage Bag: AIRDOT Test video #3
Continuing from UPDATE #4, we now confirmed that the sealing of the AIRDOT vacuum bag lasts for 155 days. Luckily, we can share it with you in the video below. We are currently testing beyond 155 days until the AIRDOT vacuum bag loses its sealing.
*Survey
Most of them have written surveys, but if there are those who have not completed the survey yet, please check out their email themselves to send the survey to us. If you have any problem with the survey, please feel free to leave your comments or messages, we will get to you as soon as we can!

We have teamed up with the kind people over at BackerKit to send you a survey in order to collect the info we need to fulfill your rewards.
The invitation was sent directly to the email address linked to your Kickstarter account. Be sure to check your spam folder in case it was captured there! Please let us know if anyone did not receive the survey.
That survey is the key to us having your correct shipping information. We need this information to process the next important step in the delivery. Please double-check and triple-check that your provided address is correct!

So, What is NEXT?
1. In a few weeks, we’ll send out fulfillment surveys. For those of you who are first-timers to Kickstarter, you may be thinking "Okay, what now?" Well, for the next few weeks, you don't need to do anything. Sit back and relax. In a few weeks, we'll send out your fulfillment surveys. In those surveys you will be able to do the following:
- Add or update your shipping address
- Choose which add-on items you want (if you added them during the campaign)
- Add-on additional AIRDOT vacuum pump or storage bags to your reward (at Kickstarter prices)
When we send out the surveys, we'll be sure to post/email another update.

We prepared a special video clip of AIRDOT at the landmarks of Seoul- its birthplace! Check it out!
We would like to inform you that we are doing our best to make the AIRDOT connector to be compatible with other vacuum bags in the market. This is probably the most requested feature of all.
1. AIRDOT connector to be compatible with other vacuum bags
We have received feedback from many backers that we need a connector that allows the AIRDOT vacuum pump to be used in other vacuum bags. We decided to make the AIRDOT connector and we are considering many options and possibilities about the design, materials, molds, etc. with the production factory in detail. We will update the development process in the future.

2. AIRDOT Seoul Tour: AIRDOT Making Film #4
We traveled all over Seoul with the AIRDOT vacuum pump and bag. Our destination was Namsan Seoul Tower and Jjimjilbang, a Korean sauna. We just wanted to try AIRDOT at Namsan Seoul Tower Observatory, one of the highest in Seoul. Also, in the hot room above 58℃ (136℉) and the cold room below 0℃ (32℉). Bammmmm the real-world test rocks.

One of the frequently asked questions was ... "how long the AIRDOT vacuum bags can remain sealed." So, we would like to show you a proof video with the third AIRDOT making film.
1. AIRDOT Making Film #3
The AIRDOT vacuum pump has special functions: AUTO-STOP & LED lights to indicate the status.
The AIRDOT vacuum pump can automatically turn itself off when the vacuuming is completed for your ease of use, or when it is operated without any load for 10 minutes. This prevents the overheating of the motor. The LED indicator light blinks fast during operation and blinks slowly during stand-by.
These special functions are controlled by software on the PCB. We have completed the development of optimal PCB and software. Watch the AIRDOT making film #3.
2. AIRDOT Test Video #2
